Our show will play music from movies, t.v. shows, and games, we will shine a light and give airtime to these soundtracks. And besides having a discussion on the music and where it came from, we will rate and provide different point of views from the djs.

5. Possible playlists

We will have playlist that have a mixture of 'orchestral soundtrack music' to songs that come from bands and artists, that have been played in entertainment outlets.

We will gather our music from mp3s, and if possible cd's. We may pre-record/pre-edit some things to make sure it flows well.

Ask them to submit songs that they want to hear. Play songs that have come out in a well recognized film.

8. What does your show provide to listeners that they can't get from commercial radio?

Radio Show Proposal

One. Billboard Flashback

Two. DJ Noah (Gabriel), Nauseous P (Shane), Cara

Three. 4-5 PM. Weeks 11 and 12.

Four. In our show we play music from the date of our broadcast from 5, 10 even 20  years ago. We want to remember what we heard those years ago. We will base our music from the Billboard Top 100 in order to have a variety. Another option can be to play music from a selected year from 5, 10 or even 20 years age.

Five. Our playlist can include any music or any artist active during the year selected.

Six. Our group can use music from our CD collection or Ipod/device. We can also check out CD’s from the Westchester library. We may also pre-record something from YouTube. We found an excellent system to record straight from the computer. This may be the only method since KLXU may only have independent music rather anything popular.

Seven. When we use the Transmitter, we can have a suggestion box and ask the Otis Community what year they would like to hear music from. At KLMU, we can ask our listeners to email a preferred year and we can pick whatever year is most popular.

Eight. We will literally play music from the year that is most asked from our listeners. We hope they can get a full Flashback experience.

Nine. A minimal design poster with a variety of fonts to attract the viewer.

Ten. We can ask our audience if they want to hear a certain year and maybe we can ask if Top 40, 20 or even anything in the Top 100.

7. How will you connect to our invisible audience?

We will connect to our invisible audience by being in as many social media sites as possible and making sure it is up to date.  On those sites we can post our playlists for example. It will be helpful when anyone wants to figure out a song they like.

8. What does your show provide to listeners that they can't get from commercial radio?

Our listeners get Hip Hop/ Rap they don't usually get to hear on mainstream radio.

9. If your group wants to do a radio related project in place of one of your two shows (sculpture, installation, performance, product/toy, etc.) what would it be?

We could have installations similar to what we want to do for the banquet. Maybe have radios put throughout the school and play some weird clips of different kinds of sounds throughout the school.
