Recorded Interviews (1-3 min.)

worth 5% of course grade

Working in pairs, you will use digital audio recorders, headphones, microphones and the list of questions below to record an interview with a classmate that you don’t already know. Each originally recorded interview will be posted to Ospace under the profile picture of the interviewee (here).

• Tell us your name and your DJ name (pseudonym).

• What kind of music do you listen to? What are your favorite bands?

• Where do you find news about your community and the world?

• Where do you find new music and/or hear the music you love?

Things to consider for interviewing:

Use of quiet location or relevant background noise

Choice of microphone location for best sound quality

Listen on headphones – make sure you can clearly hear both people.

Don’t generate extra noise.

Start over if you need to.
