RTP Channels One & Two are the government-owned channels in Portugal. We redesigned the logos, simplifying and unifying them. The main difference between the two looks is color. Channel One uses cool tones and Channel Two warm ones. Since the station's managers wanted the viewer to feel a sense of humanity from their channels, we included models and children in the graphics. The look was a big hit in Portugal. The public fell in love with one of the dancers, causing the country's newspapers to demand more information about her. The channel never disclosed that she was an American.
