CECI ARANA
My name is Cecilia Arana and I am an Otis College of Art and Design student in the ACT Internship Program. I am a senior majoring in Fine Art photography with a double minor in Illustration and Community Arts Engagement.
I am a Los Angeles based artist currently working in the medium of photography with a foundation in Fine Arts. I exercise a variety of commercial aspects as well as explore the boundaries of books as a format for my work. My main body of work consists of portraiture and documentary-styled photographs of my family.
I have many years of experience in teaching children in art-based programs. I believe it is through the education and empowering of the youth that we can start to see change in our communities.
